Our After Sales Service Dept. is able to give the highest professional support for all problems related to the complete range of our products by a highly qualified Service Engineer trained in Italy. Our machines and equipment can be checked and verified and, if necessary, repaired at the site or at our facilities in Nairobi.

Machine that will require manufacturer’s intervention will be sent to Controls Italy for repairs. This will done through Agoma Group who are the Authorized Agents of Controls in Kenya. Controls through Agoma Group guarantee that the work for verification, checking and repair is carried out by trained personnel and using original spare parts.

Instruction Manuals

Every machine and equipment is supplied complete with its Instruction Manual. In case you need a duplication of the manual, please send your request to our Service Dept service1@agomagroup.com. In order to allow us to correctly identify your machine, always make sure to mention the correct Serial Number of the product.

One of the tasks of our Customer Care department is to organize training sessions after successful installations. Training is normally aimed at: Improving the knowledge of end users in using Laboratory testing equipment.

During the year CONTROLS organize dedicated Technical Training Courses for Clients and Partners who needs to learn the best use of our machines. Our Service Engineer attends the annual training sessions in Italy to equip himself with equipment knowledge on the wide range of Controls Testing Equipment.

All training includes theoretical and practical sessions.

Each participant receives a package of documents (e.g. slide presentations, manuals, technical document) that completes the information provided by the trainers.

The availability of original spare parts, also for machines and equipment manufactured a long time ago, guarantees a long duration and life span of your testing equipment.

Controls has always adopted a policy of maintaining a suitable stock for all major spare parts so as to guarantee the supply as quickly as possible of those parts required for replacement or repair.

No representation or warranty is given as to the suitability of the goods for any particular purpose and the customer shall satisfy himself in this respect and shall be totally responsible therefore.

Unless otherwise notified, CONTROLS guarantees to the purchaser that his products carries a warranty for the period mentioned below commencing from the date of shipment:
2 years for compression and flexure machines included in section 50 of CONTROLS' range;

1 year for any other product within CONTROLS' range.
Subject to the compliance to all installation, use, storage, maintenance and operating instruction, CONTROLS will repair or replace free of charge any defective part or parts of the product, if the defect is due to faulty material or workmanship. Warranty involves repairing of defective product/parts and does not entitle purchaser for the replacement of complete product.

Warranty Period

CONTROLS obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement at its factory, defective part or parts or product shall be returned to CONTROLS, transportation charges prepaid by the sender. This warranty does not cover consumables or any part subject to be worn out by the normal use. This warranty shall not apply to any products or part of products which have been repaired or altered outside of CONTROLS factory or without CONTROLS’ authorization; or have been subjected to misuse, negligence or accident; or have been used in a manner contrary to CONTROLS’ instructions.

In the case of any goods not manufactured by CONTROLS but supplied by them or incorporated within the Company’s goods, CONTROLS is unable to provide any warranty but will assign to or pass on to the Customer the benefit of any such warranty that CONTROLS shall itself have received from its own supplier.

For the return of defective part or parts, a written authorization (RMA) must be obtained before the returning of any material for any reason whatever.
